So I'm a week behind schedule, but it'll be worth it, trust me. This week, in my role as the LA Kings Examiner, I'll be rolling out a review of the LA Kings 2009-10 season, which culimnated in their first post-season appearance since 2002 and the third 100+ point season in franchise history.
On Monday, we posted a piece about the hard working people behind the scenes with the Kings Communications Staff, the interns. Courtney Ports has been an intern for two seasons, and his value grew throughout his time with the club. Here's the story:

The rest of this week will bring the following:
- Tuesday: we'll look at the play of the goaltenders and the defensive unit
- Wednesday: the forwards come into focus
- Thursday: Coaching staff and other management, as well as looking to whom might rise through the minors next season
- Friday: Looking ahead to a busy summer
